Brooklyn is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Brooklyn is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New York's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

βHoleβ in the wall, but wow these bagels are the most delicious treasure your mouth will ever taste! Had the everything bagel with lox. The lox was amazing. But the bagel. Ooh la la. Crispy on outside, so satisfying to bite into. Chewy on the inside. Satisfyingly chubby bagel. So fun seeing them being made! Get there early for still warm bagels!!

Love their bagels: not too small not too big. Chewy inside/ crunchy outside. The perfect balance. Always my special sesame treat for the weekend. You go there for the bagels: not a fancy place / no decorum / unchanged since the 60s β¦ nothing wrong with that.

We checked this place out recently for breakfast and it was good. They were out of a couple of cream cheese spreads, so I tried the bacon, egg, and cheese on an everything bagel and my wife had an everything bagel with lox and cream cheese. Everything was pretty tasty. The bagels were reasonably priced and worth checking out.

The WORST bagel shop in NYC. I watched staff put my eggs and bacon in a microwave. My bacon was bright pink and inedible. I see the grills in your business, use them. I ordered an everything bagel with cream cheese and a bacon egg and cheese, not a complex order. They couldn't even bother to cut either bagels in half. They don't even toast bagels there, yet they are solid as rocks. Every time I go to this business, I remember why I boycott it for years at a time and will never come back after today. Go to the deli on the corner of 7th and 12th if you want good service and food. Don't. Go. Here.

202405 supposedly old recipe but no old charm and disappointing. Barely 2 two-star. The bagel: dense and chewy with a crust, but quite dry. Maybe not very fresh. The plain one is less dry, probably from a more recent batch as the more classic choice. Still, other than the crunchy crust, not too different from the supermarket packsβ the crust shows the bagel could have seen better days. To out it nicely, not bad enough for me to throw it away. Not many choices after 12pm. No pumpernickel not even whole-wheat. The filling: I didnβt get any because they look rather sad and donβt seem hygienic. The place: old fashioned hole in a wall. (Whatβs wrong with small bagel and small hands? I enjoy smaller ones to try different offerings. Nonetheless 3.3 for a plain and a poppyseed without filling is quite pricy for the size.
